Give It 2 Me - Madonna

My first song activity is Give it 2 me by Madonna. I’ve chosen it because I’m very happy ‘cos I’m going to see her concert in Brazil!

This song was written by Madonna and Phrrell Williams (the guy who appears on the video). Tom Munro and Nathan Hissman directed the video, it was their first.

Initially her album was supposed to the called Give it 2 Me instead of Hard Candy, but in the last minutes she changed the title and the concept of the album, now it’s very colorful and it’ has candy as its principal theme.

Some magazines criticized Madonna because she’s wearing underwear in the video. The British magazine Star wrote that they were worried about what Lola and Rocco (her children) would think when they saw her in the video.

Some people insisted that this song has a sample which isn’t credit, it’s ´Super Freak´ singed by Rick James in 1981, but nothing is confirmed.
